Airedale & Wharfedale Network is set in Yorkshire in northern England and features Northern BR Class 331 and LNER Azuma services. The route includes the Rylstone quarry industry with the BR Class 66 and HYA Limestone Hopper.The Deluxe Edition additionally includes the Northern BR Class 333. Bahnstrecke Nürnberg–Würzburg is set in Bavaria and includes long-distance and regional services operated with the DB BR 440, DB BR 442, and DB BR 193 Vectron.The Deluxe Edition additionally includes the DB BR 412 ICE 4. Gameplay and Technical Features Freight Hauler allows players to perform freight switching and hauling operations without predefined instructions or schedules. Freight cars are placed throughout the route and can be switched, shunted, and hauled to their destinations. Live Weather uses real-time, location-specific weather data to determine in-game weather conditions. Safety systems can be enabled by default on applicable trains, including systems such as AWS and PZB. The PC version includes an Epic graphics setting with increased draw distances and improved shadow quality. Train Sim World 7 uses DirectX 12 and supports DLSS 4.5, including DLAA and upscaling, as well as FSR 4 for upscaling and frame generation. An Enhanced Lighting option is available for TOD4 routes. On trains operated with guards, guards can open and close passenger doors. Additional Modes and Features Photo Mode provides tools for taking screenshots in-game. Route Hopping allows players to move between available routes. Free Roam allows players to operate trains on routes outside scheduled services and combine free-roaming activities with timetable traffic. Conductor Mode allows players to perform conductor duties on applicable trains, including checking passenger tickets and operating passenger doors. Creators Club provides tools for creating and sharing custom content. The Livery Designer allows custom train liveries to be created, while the Formation Designer allows custom train formations to be assembled from owned trains.
